Music Ministry
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at St. Anthony Parish has been a vital and exceptional part of our Parish community for over a quarter of a century. The music is a beautiful blend of traditional, contemporary and jazz arrangements. The liturgical music includes a collection of the best compositions from a variety of national sources, along with many compositions by our local musicians.
Music Ministers are part of all weekend celebrations, holy day celebrations and other special liturgy celebrations. The group includes choir members, keyboard, organ, guitars, bass, drums, harmonica, clarinet and various other solo instruments. The group includes both professional and non-professional musicians.
Everyone is Welcome
Anyone who would like to be a part of this ministry, or who feels “called to” this ministry, is encouraged to do so. There are no requirements to becoming a music ministry member, other than having the desire to sing, play and serve.
Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., September through May. Rehearsals are not mandatory. So, if you cannot make practice just come and join the group when you can. We are here to play, laugh and live our faith.
